Sketching: DRAW

Use Your Power Traits for Life™

Sketching learners remember what they DRAW or ILLUSTRATE. They remember concepts best when they are allowed and encouraged to draw or doodle what they are learning. They understand instructions best when they can sketch what they are hearing.

To use your Sketching Modality:

  • Take picture notes.
  • Make charts and graphs.
  • Draw and label information to be studied.
  • Doodle when taking in auditory information.
  • Sketch or doodle when reading to increase comprehension.
  • Use different colors for different kinds of information.
